In addition to working on the Proximity Cube project, I also managed to easily integrate the RFID system used in the Human Cookie project, and develop a simple prototype whereas before I was limited to a Flash visualisation.

The Human Cookie project used a Phidget RFID sensor to detect the presence of individuals at specific locations. this information was collated into an XML file that was then read by Flash to appropriate the correct colour in the designated location. Using a simple bit of code from Makezine.com 'Getting Started with Arduino' book, I was able to easily read the XML file previously generated in the last system and assign to a specific LED output attached to the arduino UNO. Saying this, I have found the Arduino so simple to use, that I intend to investigate more wireless attachments that can be integrated and will provide more flexibility than an RFID system.
